Clinical Practice: Travel Medicine

Dr. Dyan Summers has extensive experience and expertise in travel and tropical medicine. She holds a Certificate in Travel Health (CTH®) from the International Society of Travel Medicine, and a Certificate from the Johns Hopkins Tropical Medicine program. She diagnosed, treated and reported the first American recreational traveler to have the Zika Virus (ZIKV). Dr. Summers also founded a telemedicine company for the practice of travel medicine.  E-Consults (online via video) allow patients to access her remotely through a customized HIPAA compliant patient/provider electronic platform.
